Majority of the people in today’s day lead lifestyles which cause a lot of strain on their back. Working behind a desk all day is the major part of most of the jobs, and this in turn makes problems like chronic back pain a common ailment. In fact, chronic back pain is among the major causes of disability in the world. This is why it is necessary to be careful while choosing a sofa set or a mattress. The build and material of the furniture has a major impact on a person’s posture, and muscle health. There are certain things a person should always consider before they are purchasing a mattress or sofa set to avoid back pain. Five of the main things to consider are,
1. The firmness: The firmness of the material of the sofa set or the mattress plays a major role in avoiding and alleviating back pain. It is a common misconception that extremely firm mattresses are the best mattresses for back pain. Recent surveys and research have found out that the people who sleep on extremely firm mattresses are more likely to have back pain. These kind of mattresses or sofas prevent the spinal cord of the person to properly relax, which in turn causes stiffness and pain. The spine is prevented from relaxing into its natural shape which causes pressure points to develop. Thus, sleeping on a too firm mattress or sitting on a too firm sofa can cause back pain.
2. The softness: While too firm a mattress is not ideal for one’s back, the same can be said for too soft mattresses also. A very soft mattress or sofa can cause the intermediate area on one’s spine to sag. This not only leads to poor posture, but chronic back pain. This is why the latest sofa designs make sure that the base material is not too soft. The ideal mattress should be a perfect balance between soft and firm. It should be built in such a way that the heavier parts of our back like the hips and shoulders are allowed to relax and sink down into the mattress, and the other areas are lying just on top of the mattress. This makes sure that the spine retains its natural curved shape, and is not stressed.
3. The size: Although it seems obvious, it is quite common for people to forget to take into account their height while choosing a mattress or a sofa set. When we are relaxing, it is ideal to keep our joints relaxed. Crouching while sleeping or sitting because of space issues can lead to back pain in the long run. Thus, one should always make sure that the mattress or sofa set they are buying are compatible with their height to avoid back pain.
4. The longevity: A lot of mattresses and sofa sets tend to sag and lose their shape over time. Sleeping on a mattress that is disformed is not only uncomfortable, but also it can create a lot of problems for out back. This is why one should always consider the longevity of the material with which their mattress or sofa set is built. For example, while memory foam can seem like a lucrative option, it has extremely poor longevity.
5. Reviews: The quality of a mattress or a sofa set cannot be properly perused until and unless it is actually used. This is why it is always important to check the reviews before buying one. Through the reviews, you can get an idea about the longevity of the material, the overall feel, the comfort quotient, and the customer satisfaction provided by a particular mattress or sofa set.
Thus, there are certain things we should always keep in mind while buying a sofa set or a mattress, if we are to avoid back pain. The size, quality, feel, material, build of the product must be properly checked to obtain the latest sofa designs and best mattresses for back pain.

A home is more than four walls. It reflects the style and taste of an inhabitant. Four walls of a home can be made beautiful with the help of light, colour, texture, display of artefacts’ etc. Without proper light, whether it is natural or artificial, we cannot enjoy the purity or intensity of colours. Without Colour there is no life. Colours can change our mood which can affect our daily life.
Following things should be kept in mind before choosing the colour of the walls:
1 Choosing the right colour:
Choosing the right colour for the wall is not very easy. Basic knowledge of the colour wheel helps in choosing the right colours for the wall of the bedroom, restroom or kid’s corner. Before choosing the right colour, first, we should finalize the colour scheme for every room or wall or a particular corner. Colour scheme could be monochromatic, bichromatic, multichromatic, warm, cool or contrasting depending on the choice and area to be painted. A bedroom should be painted with cool, subtle or pastel colours to give rest to eyes whereas the colour of sitting area can be finalized keeping in mind display of artefacts’ on walls and colour of light. Here, primary, secondary or contrasting colour scheme can be used. Choosing the right colour will make a room appear larger or smaller.
2 Types of Paints:
Normally water, oil or acrylic based paints are used to paint the walls of a house. There are different types of paints available for exterior or interior walls. The advantage of water-based paints are, it is easy to clean up with water, they get dry quickly, finish is elastic, flexible and they are resistant to cracking. They are available in matte finish.
On the other hand, oil-based paints give an attractive gloss, semi-gloss, satin, flat or matt appearance. They are long lasting.
Acrylic paint is also water based and its appearance and quality is better than normal water-based paints.
Apart from painting walls with colours, wallpapers can also be used to cover walls. Wallpapers are available in various colours and designs as per the choice. The finish of wallpaper surpasses traditional painting of walls.
3 Adding texture to the wall
Adding texture to a wall can create depth in the wall. Use of texture with colour light will create a dramatic effect. The texture is normally used in the restroom.
4 Colour light
Before painting a wall or pasting wallpaper, the effect of coloured light on it and the paintings displayed should be assessed. There are different coloured light available in the market with different shades. Therefore the impact of light, intensity, shades and fixtures should be taken into consideration according to the colour of the wall.
5 The surface of the wall:
The surface of the wall plays a very important role for painting. Purity and intensity of colour can be visible on the well-prepared surface. A surface is prepared according to the selection of paint whether it is water-based, acrylic or oil paint. For texture, or for wallpaper, the surface is prepared according to texture and adhesive of wallpaper. The surface is also prepared to keep in mind the artefacts’ displayed on it.

As a young boy playing with his friends in the streets in Portugal, Cristiano Ronaldo never considered that he would end up becoming a professional player for his country. One might think that the fact that Ronaldo’s father worked in a local soccer club would automatically entice him to go in that direction. In fact, Ronaldo’s father had to ask him why he didn’t come in and play when he was at work there. That conversation was what finally motivated Ronaldo step into the club and to train with the help of his father. Ronaldo says he really liked playing soccer and enjoyed the team atmosphere. It wasn’t until three or four years of playing in the soccer club that he started considering a professional career in the sport. As he watched countless walk-ups and games, his motivation to become a professional soccer player was intensifying.

Omron is one such example of technology innovation which helps us keep a regular check on blood pressure and pulse.
Since I was a child I have been following "dadi maaa ke nuskhe". Regularly oiling and applying natural hair mask to make my hair shinier and stronger was a part of my daily hair care regime. But today with changing lifestyle I don't have so much time to invest every day. My hectic schedule is taking a toll on my hair care routine. Now I am experiencing hair fall, dry and dull hair. Then GK hair professional invited me to educate about keratin treatment. Since I have already heard great results of the treatment, this time I was super excited to get treatment on my hair.

When you go to the mall with friends for fine dine yet a youthful place where you can chill you might not find it in game zone. But Noida bar exchange is like "a secret hideout" in Samaash. You have food and drinks over meaningful and meaningless conversation with friends. This restaurant is inspired by the concept of "stock exchange" and converted it to "bar exchange". The prices of beverages changes with increase and decrease in demand. They also have screens which display the rates of the beverages which start from lowest Rs40/- and then goes up according to the demand.
